Leviticus

Holiness, sacrifice, priestly theology.
“... so that you can distinguish between the holy and the common, between the unclean and the clean.” (Leviticus 10:10)

The key to the whole book is chapter 10, verse 10: separate the holy from the common, and the clean from the unclean.

Leviticus 1–7 and Leviticus 17:11: because there is life in the blood, it can atone. What divides being accepted from being forgiven, and the fire kept burning on the altar.
